The WA Schools PPP Project was a $631 million contract awarded in 2015 to the EduWest consortium to design, build, finance, and maintain eight new public schools across the Perth metropolitan area until 2047. The project delivered four primary schools and four secondary schools in high-growth suburbs, using an innovative, whole-of-life cost approach to construction and maintenance. A key feature of the design included energy efficiency and the installation of substantial solar panel capacity to significantly reduce utility costs and free up school staff to focus purely on education. (Major phases completed 2016–2022).
Our Role
As the Independent Certifier for the WA Schools PPP Project, the role involved providing strictly independent and impartial certification of project milestones and compliance against the project deed, quality specifications, and agreed schedule.
